Solution Architect, Strategic Communications
Pattie is a strategic communications expert and a foremost crisis and issues management adviser with extensive experience leading companies through high-stakes issues. She has served some of the nation’s most recognized organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, global non-profits, and agencies. Pattie’s deep expertise spans highly regulated industries closely scrutinized by the government and media, where her precision skills are crucial.
Pattie holds the recent distinction of leading communications for two iconic healthcare organizations during the COVID-19 pandemic – first for Labcorp, a global diagnostics and drug development company, and then for the renowned Mayo Clinic. Her leadership helped positively position both organizations when accessible testing, vaccines, and patient care were a race against time, framed in front-line fatigue and social, political, and economic instability – a perfect reputational storm. Her extensive corporate and agency experience honed her ability to remain agile, think critically, and solve problems creatively.
Pattie is adept at anticipating and addressing issues without losing sight of the long game – effectively building brands, protecting reputations, and achieving business results. She is an active member of the Page Society, co-creating the organization’s brand guide for chief communications officers. She often lectures on crisis, reputation, and brand topics.
Pattie is a well-traveled Ohio native and graduate of Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science in Urban Affairs specializing in strategy. She is an avid hiker who embraces the mantra of “no road, no problem.”
